I like to to link up with Farley and see what everyone else in blog land is doing or thinking.
So here it is....
Quiet: I was wide awake at 5:45 (on a Saturday) and had been tossing and turning all night. I finally decided that it would be better to sit on my couch in the quiet while contemplating my troubles with my coffee and blogs.
Thinking: I overthink too much. My brain is going a mile a minute and has been since a fun staff meeting yesterday afternoon. Don't you just love those? All control being taken away and nothing I can do about it.
Wanting: A nice warm donut sounds good while I eat my feelings away. That is an awful feeling.
Needing: Wouldn't every teacher love to have their own unlimited copies and copy machine!?
Like: Money... who doesn't?
Love: Movies... I want to go pick up the newest Twilight today and watch it. I need an escape.
Hate: Malarkey.... see above staff meeting.
Sorry for all the gloom. I will be looking forward to an end of this year and being able to start fresh and new. It has to be better. Right?

I'm right there with you on the donut! :( An end of the year would be a great start. At least you get a Spring Break soon- we have some days off for Easter but that's it.

DeleteWhat is all this talk about donuts? hahaha... I just visited Merinda (the blog in front of yours at Farleys) and that's what she's wanting too. Now I want one, but don't want to have to get ready and go in search of one in these rural backwoods!! hahaha...

DeleteHi Meridith, I just found you through Farley's CURRENTLY. I am Merinda that Cynthia was talking about. And yes I do want a chocolate donut today but I am dieting (so BOO!). I hear you about wanting a fresh start. I had a year like that last year. It's one of the things I love about teaching is that we get to start over. Hang in there!
